🔧 Installation & Setup

How do I install the EA?

1. Download the complete package from your dashboard

2. Open MetaTrader 5 → File → Open Data Folder

3. Copy JAGfx-DCA.ex5 to the MQL5/Experts folder

4. Copy indicator files to the MQL5/Indicators folder

5. Copy template file to the MQL5/Templates folder

6. Restart MetaTrader 5

7. Add the activation URL to MT5's allowed list

8. Drag the EA onto your chart and enter your license key

How do I add the Activation URL to MT5's allowed list?

1. In MT5, go to Tools → Options → Expert Advisors

2. Check "Allow WebRequest for listed URL"

3. Click "Add" and enter: https://mqqrxxbrxyrndkowzzet.supabase.co

4. Click "OK" to save

The EA won't load - what's wrong?

Common issues:

  • Missing indicators: Make sure all indicator files are in the Indicators folder
  • URL not allowed: Add the activation URL to MT5's allowed list
  • Invalid license: Check your license key is correct
  • Internet connection: EA needs internet for license validation

💳 License & Subscription

How do I get a license key?

1. Purchase a subscription on our website

2. Your license key will be generated automatically

3. Find it in your dashboard under "Your Subscriptions"

4. Copy and paste it into the EA when prompted

What does "Invalid license key" mean?

This means:

  • Your subscription has expired
  • You entered the wrong license key
  • There's an internet connection issue
  • Your license has reached the maximum number of activations

How many computers can I use my license on?

Monthly: 5 activations (MT5 instances)

Quarterly: 5 activations (MT5 instances)

Yearly: 5 activations (MT5 instances)

Each MT5 instance counts as one activation, even on the same computer.

What happens when my subscription expires?

• The EA will stop trading after expiry

• You get a 48-hour grace period for renewals

• After grace period, you must renew to continue using the EA

How does the EA work?

The EA uses a DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) strategy with:

  • QQE indicator for entry signals
  • MACD Filter for trend confirmation
  • DCA sequence for position sizing
  • Multiple exit strategies (QQE recovery, trailing stops, fixed targets)

Can I use the EA on multiple currency pairs?

Yes! You can trade multiple currency pairs with the EA.

  • Backtesting: Yes, test thoroughly in Strategy Tester first
  • Live trading: Start with small amounts and monitor closely
  • Risk management: Never risk more than you can afford to lose

What's the maximum drawdown?

Drawdown depends on:

  • Market conditions
  • Your risk settings
  • Account size
  • Currency pair volatility

Always use proper risk management and never risk more than you can afford to lose.

Can I lose money?

YES! Trading involves risk. You can lose money, especially if:

  • You don't follow proper risk management
  • You use too large position sizes
  • You don't monitor your trades
  • Market conditions are unfavorable

🛠️ Technical Issues

The EA shows "LICENSE: INVALID" - what do I do?

1. Check your internet connection

2. Verify your license key is correct

3. Check if your subscription has expired

4. Contact support if the issue persists

The EA won't take trades - why?

Common reasons:

  • License expired: Check your subscription status
  • Outside trading hours: Check your time filter settings
  • Market closed: EA won't trade when market is closed
  • No signals: Wait for proper QQE and QMP signals
  • Risk management: Check your lot size and risk settings

Can I use this EA in Strategy Tester?

Yes! The EA works in Strategy Tester without a license. It will show "STRATEGY TESTER" mode in the display panel.

The EA keeps closing trades early - why?

This could be due to:

  • QQE exit strategy: EA exits when QQE crosses 50
  • Trailing stops: If using trailing stop strategy
  • Risk management: Built-in risk reduction features
  • Time filters: If you have trading hours set
